2026-27 points-league draft guide

Late-Round Gems

Pick 100 and later: bigs with strong per-minute numbers, starters in new roles and a few stashes. Most points leagues are won or lost in these rounds.

  1. 1

    Kel'el Ware

    C · MIL

    1.3 fantasy points per minute · per 36: 18 PTS, 15 REB, 3.1 STL+BLK

His per-minute production is elite, and Milwaukee is rebuilding. He averaged nearly a double-double in about 22 minutes, so 25 minutes would make him a starting-caliber points big at ESPN ADP 102 to 108. His free throws also rose from 69% to 74%.

Counterpoint: Myles Turner is still on the roster.

  2. 2

    Collin Murray-Boyles

    C/PF · TOR

    Final 23 games: 10 PTS, 5.1 REB, 2 STL+BLK, 63% FG in 23.6 min · per 36: 19 / 8.5 / 3.2

RotoBaller calls him a top-75 value if last year's per-minute line holds over 25 to 28 minutes, and DraftKings has him as a breakout. He's also insurance for Jakob Poeltl (30, no 60-game season since 2022-23). His ADP swings from 115 on Yahoo to 140 on ESPN, and a Yahoo mock took him at 94.

  3. 3

    CJ McCollum

    PG/SG · ATL

    41 games with Atlanta: 18.7 PTS, 4.1 AST, 3.1 REB, 1.0 STL

He's a locked-in starter on a rising Hawks team going around pick 108. Fantasy Alarm calls him 'closer to top-50 than top-100', and Fantrax moved him from 105 to 88.

  4. 4

    Moussa Diabaté

    CHA

As a starter after New Year: 8.0 PTS, 9.4 REB, 2.4 AST, ~1 STL, ~1 BLK

One of the league's best rebounders, and he could approach 30 minutes as a starter next to Naz Reid. Rebounds count fully in every points league, and at ADP 140 he's a near-nightly double-double threat.

  5. 5

    Day'Ron Sharpe

    C · BKN

    ESPN ADP 139

A per-minute monster who could reach mid-20s minutes as a starter. In points leagues per-minute output turns straight into points, and he costs a final-rounds pick.

    Counterpoint: Don't expect 30+ minutes.

  6. 6

    Neemias Queta

    C · BOS

Top-65 in 9-cat last year on ~25 min

Managers are scared off by Mitchell Robinson's signing, but Robinson rarely plays more than 20 minutes. RotoBaller projects Queta top-85 at a Yahoo rank of 107.

  7. 7

    Josh Hart

    SF/SG · NYK

    Yahoo rank 98

With Mitchell Robinson gone, the Knicks should play smaller lineups, which means more minutes for a guard who rebounds like a big. RotoBaller says his price is an overcorrection.

    ADP #91Our projections #97Boogie Nights #92
  8. 8

    Keegan Murray

    SF/PF · SAC

    Yahoo rank 99 · Yahoo ADP 120

He has a large, safe role in Sacramento. He was a value at pick 110 in the Yahoo points mock, and RotoBaller sees top-75 upside with even average three-point shooting.

    ADP #130Our projections #114Boogie Nights #116
  9. 9

    Peyton Watson

    SF/PF · CLE

40 starts with Denver: 17.3 PTS, 5.3 REB, 2.2 STL in 33 min

He was a two-way starter before a hamstring injury ended his season. At ADP 117 he's a top-100 player if he wins a starting spot in Cleveland.

Counterpoint: His starting role isn't confirmed.

    ADP #128Our projections #132Boogie Nights #126
  10. 10

    Pelle Larsson

    MIA

    Yahoo rank 147 · projected 28-30 min

The Milwaukee trade emptied Miami's rotation (Jaquez, Herro, Ware and Jakučionis are all gone). He expects to play some point guard, which adds assists on top of a wing's counting stats.

  11. 11

    Keaton Wagler

    PG/SG · LAC

    No. 5 pick · Yahoo rank 210

Brandon Ingram's Achilles keeps him out to start the season, so the rookie gets early-season volume almost for free.

    ADP #178Our projections #138Boogie Nights #134
  12. 12

    RJ Barrett

    PF/SF/SG · TOR

    Yahoo ADP 112

The Yahoo points mock ranked him 83rd and got him at 107. He's a high-volume scorer whose efficiency questions matter less in this format.

    ADP #109Our projections #91Boogie Nights #95
  13. 13

    Fred VanVleet

    PG/SG · HOU

    18th overall in 2023-24 · Yahoo rank 153

He's coming off a torn ACL and may start on a minutes limit, but Houston needs his playmaking. Fantasy Six Pack projects him to clear his rank easily.

    ADP #124Our projections #133Boogie Nights #128
  14. 14

    Jimmy Butler III

    PF/SF/SG · GSW

Before the injury: 20.0 PTS, 5.6 REB, 4.9 AST, 1.4 STL in 31 min

A pure stash. He's 37 and coming off a torn ACL, likely back early in 2027. The Yahoo points mock took him at 155, and FantraxHQ would take him before 100.

Counterpoint: Our boards tag him OUT, so only stash him if your league has IL spots.
