Former NBA guard Malik Beasley is negotiating a plea agreement with the Justice Department, his attorney Steve Haney confirmed; he said no deal has been signed and a decision is expected early this week. A judge asked a magistrate in Brooklyn to schedule a change-of-plea hearing. Prosecutors allege Beasley manipulated his stats in at least four games in 2023-24 with Milwaukee. Co-defendant Ernesto Plascencia will plead guilty, his attorney said.
