The Students' List, on which EuroLeague president Dejan Bodiroga was a candidate, won about 52% of the vote, roughly 135 of the 250 seats in parliament, according to initial estimates. The ruling SNS won about 39% (around 104 seats) and lost power. Bodiroga was one of the main speakers at the opposition's big rallies in recent weeks, and he is mentioned as a possible candidate in December's expected presidential election.
