Executives from five football clubs, including EuroLeague members Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich, plus AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain, will meet NBA Europe representatives in London on Tuesday, Sky News' Mark Kleinman reports. It is unclear whether the meeting is in person. Kleinman says investors would pay up to $1 billion for a London franchise, but that sales are unlikely until the NBA resolves things with the EuroLeague, which rejected the NBA's latest proposal at Lake Como. NBA deputy commissioner Mark Tatum said the league still targets October 2027.
"As we've said before, we continue to be hopeful that we'll reach an agreement, but we're prepared to proceed regardless." - Mark Tatum
