After the win in Piraeus, Fenerbahce coach Sarunas Jasikevicius was asked about the bribery and match-fixing investigation in Greek basketball, in which former referee Petros Papapetrou has been held in pre-trial detention. Jasikevicius, who knows Greek basketball well, said coaches, players and referees all work under heavy stress, that no decisions should be made in offices, and that he hopes the authorities find and punish those responsible.
"I hope that the authorities will find the edge, because we love the game of basketball so much and we want it to be clean. It's a sacred thing for us, we're nothing without basketball." - Sarunas Jasikevicius
