Fenerbahce set a EuroLeague single-game record with 14 blocks in a 74-65 win over Partizan in Istanbul, beating the old mark of 12 set by Zalgiris in 2000 and matched in 2008. Markus Bingham had five. Partizan opened with four straight threes and led 28-24 at the half, then made just 2 of their last 16 from deep as Talen Horton-Tucker drove a third-quarter surge to 59-44. Shavon Shields led Fener with 17 points and a PIR of 25; Ethan Thompson scored 13 for Partizan, who have lost three in a row.
"Can you imagine how bad of a defense we're playing to keep coming around and blocking shots? If you play good defense, you don't need to block a shot, but the record is always fun." — Sarunas Jasikevicius
