Markus Howard's four seasons in Vitoria are over. Baskonia confirmed his exit, and the VTB League confirmed he has signed with Zenit Saint Petersburg until the summer of 2028. Howard led the EuroLeague in scoring in 2023/24 at 19.5 points per game, was twice the ACB's top scorer and won the 2026 Copa del Rey with Baskonia.
"The name of Markus Howard is now written forever in the history books of this club." — Baskonia (translated from Spanish)
