Baskonia parted ways with Paolo Galbiati after five rounds and a 1-4 EuroLeague start, a year after he won them the Copa del Rey. Velimir Perasovic takes over for his fourth spell in Vitoria, after 2005-07, 2015-16 and 2018/19. He has coached Unics Kazan for the past five years. Baskonia's season had already seen Alex Len leave without playing a game and Markus Howard depart.
